Counter-notification
If you believe content was removed by mistake or misidentification, email us with your signature, the removed URL, a statement under penalty of perjury explaining the mistake, your contact details, and consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal court. We will forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant and may restore the material after 10–14 business days if no court action is filed.
Processing and repeat infringement
We remove or disable access to validly reported material expeditiously, generally within 1–3 business days, and keep a record of notices and removals. We may restrict access for users or sources that repeatedly infringe copyright.
Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice may create liability for damages. If you are unsure whether material infringes your rights, consult an attorney.
