About

Chimère

Beauty in full resolution.

Our intention

Most sites promise high definition, but what you actually get is still a small, compressed image. Chimère was created to do better: to show photography at the best resolution the source allows, with a calm and uncluttered reading experience.

Watermarks

We never add a Chimère watermark to an image. If a watermark belongs to the original release, we leave it untouched rather than crop or paint over it. Our aim is to add nothing of our own to the picture.

Advertising & experience

The reading experience comes first. Chimère does not use pop-ups, autoplay ads, or overlays that cover the work. If sponsorship becomes necessary to cover hosting costs, it will be kept clearly separate from the images and will never interrupt browsing.

Image content & takedown

The images, albums, and sets here are gathered from publicly available sources online. We try to keep sets complete, but we cannot verify every image. If you find unlawful content, or you are a rights holder and believe your rights have been infringed, please contact us with the specific URL. We will review it and remove the content promptly.
